Every piece I create tells a unique story.
Mexican Goldsmith and Sculptor

Dinastía López Orfebres has its roots deeply rooted in the City of Puebla, dating back to the year 1862. In that historical moment, Don Francisco Gerardo López emerged as a prominent figure when he was in charge of elaborating the imperial seals during the ephemeral reign of Maximilian and Carlota.

I am honored to belong to the
Fifth Generation of Mexican Goldsmiths and Sculptors,
Well, my family since the last century
has made religious and sculptural works
of great importance both for our country,
as for the whole world.
OUR WORKS

In the City of Puebla, the year 1862 passed, when Don Francisco Gerardo López, who became famous when in the ephemeral reign of Maximiliano and Carlota, was commissioned to make the imperial seals.
Today it is up to his great-great-grandson Arthur J. López who has been in charge of continuing the legacy of his ancestors, giving an aesthetic expression to the most valuable materials in nature.
Proudly as the fifth generation, we continue to make bronze monuments, sculptures, and artistic goldsmithing, as well as bronze plaques, commemorative coins, and special works for church, government, and private collectors.
Among the most notable works, the frames of the Virgin of Guadalupe of the Basilica and the Crowns in silver and gold, as well as the scepter embroidered with precious stones; the coffers that keep the Constitution and the Act of Independence of the United Mexican States, the Key to Mexico City that has been given to distinguished visitors, the Belisario Dominguez Medal that the Senate of the Republic awards to the most conspicuous Mexicans, sculptures for private collectors as well as important monuments of our country and Europe.
